Nesta – Skoda Alecar, victorioso en Valencia
Nesta – Skoda Alecar ha sido muy protagonista en el Ciclocross Internacional Ciudad de Valencia, con una victoria, un podio y el título logrado en la Copa de España sub-23.
Lucía González lograba su 10.ª victoria UCI de la temporada. La corredora asturiana sigue con su dominio en el calendario nacional, y en Valencia ha refrendado un nuevo triunfo tras el podio logrado en Xativa. “Salía con ciertas dudas tras la caída del sábado. Sabía que lo más difícil sería abrir el hueco, así que lo probé en las primeras vueltas pero no lo logré. Rodamos un quinteto durante gran parte de la carrera, pero a falta de vuelta y media volví a probarlo y ya fui a tope hasta meta. Contenta con la victoria y ahora a preparar las próximas citas”, concluía Lucía.
Iván Feijoo ha logrado imponerse en la Copa de España sub-23, tras una gran actuación en Valencia donde el marcaje con Murias ha sido la nota predominante durante la carrera. “Ha sido un circuito muy rápido, de rodar en grupo y en mi caso tenía una estrategia muy clara. Salí bien, asegurando para evitar caídas o contratiempos, y luego poco a poco la carrera se fue haciendo. Hubo mucho marcaje con Murias, pero al sprint pude superarlo para ganar la Copa de España”, reconocía Iván.
Kevin Suárez suma un nuevo podio al ser 2.º en la prueba valenciana, tras superar al sprint a Russo. “Me he encontrado mejor del resfriado que venía arrastrando, pero Felipe un día más ha estado intratable y de inicio se nos fue. Estoy contento porque el cuerpo ha respondido bien y he podido superar al francés para hacer segundo. Ha sido una carrera un poco rara, con mucha vigilancia aunque cuando vi la oportunidad pude irme. Espero seguir recuperando y llegar a tope a las próximas pruebas de Copa del Mundo”, antojaba Kevin.
Nesta – Skoda Alecar afrontará los próximos compromisos de la Copa del Mundo en Bélgica, una de las semanas claves para el conjunto asturiano.
